Performance

Performance tracks your apps’ sales, installs, and downloads over the last six months, with flexible filters for country and partner. The data available to you depends on the type of integration your app uses:

  • Apps with our Billing SDK integrated: Installs & Sales
  • Apps with our OSP Billing method integrated: Downloads & Sales
  • All other apps: Downloads only

Sales insights: Revenue Boost and Effective Share

When you select an app that earns in-app revenue, the Sales view adds two extra metrics on top of the raw sales figures. Both respect the current date range as well as the country and partner filters.

  • Revenue Boost — money spent by users that comes from the cashback bonus Aptoide funds out of its own share of the revenue. It represents extra sales you earned at no cost to you, shown as a positive amount (for example, +$12.34).
  • Effective Share — the overall revenue share you effectively earn, shown as a percentage. It combines your base 75% distribution-channel split with the additional revenue you gain from the Revenue Boost.

These two metrics build directly on our Revenue Share model: Aptoide reinvests part of its share as Wallet credits for users, and the spending those credits generate is what surfaces here as your Revenue Boost and lifts your Effective Share above the base split.

📘

Revenue Boost and Effective Share appear only for apps that are eligible for the cashback-based revenue model. If a metric hasn't been computed for the selected period yet, it shows as Data pending.

Included Marketing Value

Included Marketing Value (IMV) is an estimate of the cost of matching Aptoide's organic delivery through paid User Acquisition (UA). In other words, it's what you would have had to spend on paid UA campaigns to generate the same volume of installs, clicks, and impressions that we drove to your app free of charge through our promotional efforts.

On the Performance page, IMV is shown as a detailed, expandable table. Select View details to break the estimate down by country tier and by metric.

The estimate is built from three metrics, each multiplied by a reference paid-UA rate for the relevant country tier:

MetricVolumeReference rate
InstallsEvery install delivered in the period, across all Aptoide distribution channelsCPI — Cost Per Install
ClicksClicks from tracked promotional placements (featured slots, editorial banners, campaign surfaces)CPC — Cost Per Click
ImpressionsImpressions from tracked promotional placementsCPM — Cost Per 1,000 impressions

Countries are grouped into three tiers, each with its own reference rates:

  • Tier 1 — High-ARPU markets (e.g. US, UK, Germany, Japan, the Nordics), with premium rates.
  • Tier 2 — Mid-ARPU markets (e.g. Brazil, Mexico, Spain, Poland), with standard rates.
  • Tier 3 — Emerging markets (e.g. India, Indonesia, the Philippines, much of Africa), with lower rates reflecting lower paid-UA costs.
📘

IMV figures are a conservative estimate. Installs are tracked 100% across all channels, but clicks and impressions are counted only from Aptoide's promotional placements — organic browsing, search, and other events aren't included. Your actual delivery is higher than the value shown.

You'll also find a compact Included Marketing Value summary card in the Marketing section, and the same value in the Earnings Summary card on the Console Dashboard. Both link back to this page for the full breakdown.

Reports and API access

In addition to viewing your metrics directly in the Console, you also have access to a set of pre-generated monthly reports. For each month, you can download three different files per data type:

  • Daily-aggregated data (same data shown in the chart view)
  • Country-aggregated breakdown (same data shown in Top Countries)
  • Partner-aggregated breakdown (same data shown in Top Partners)

All this data is also available programmatically through our API. Two API services are provided:

  • Ranking - This service is designed to retrieve data in a ranking format (sales or revenue), providing you with access to the most relevant or popular information within a specified category or criteria (click on the link to see how to use it).
  • Chart - This service facilitates the retrieval of statistical information (sales or revenue) within a designated time frame and presents the data in a graphical format, typically a chart (click on the link to see how to use it).

This structure ensures flexibility and convenience in analyzing and accessing your app performance data.
